In addition, I was previously an intern at St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood CA, where I was trained in direct patient care, including feeding, bathing, wound care, and surgeon shadowing. I am very comfortable in messy situations that arise with children (and pets)! I currently have a flexible schedules and I am open to weekday and weekend positions (day/ or night)). I am fluent in English, and can communicate decently in Spanish. I also took 1 year of American Sign Language (ASL) in college. We hired Brittany to nanny our 10mo old son because our permanent nanny was going through some health challenges and could no longer work for us. We were in a bind and Brittany came to our rescue! This was my first time using Care.com, on top of both me and my husband working from home and with the complexities of Covid, we wanted to ensure we found a reliable and safe caretaker. Brittany was extremely helpful and is clearly experienced watching babies. When she showed up, she knew what to do our son loved playing with her. She ended up working with us for a few months until our son was ready for daycare at age 1. I definitely plan to hire Brittany again for some babysitting!
