I'm a certified educator and current Director of Special Education with years of experience helping students make real academic progress. I've worked both in the classroom and in leadership, designing individualized learning plans and supporting a wide range of learning needs. I specialize in reading, writing, and math, with strong experience in systematic, explicit reading instruction, including structured, phonics-based programs and Orton-Gillingham-aligned approaches. I'm skilled at breaking concepts down step-by-step to build strong foundations, confidence, and independence. I also support executive functioning skills like organization and study habits to help students succeed long-term.
