I am a special education teacher licensed pk-12 and I am certified to teach math and reading. I have a knack for building rapport and getting your kiddos confidence up. I use research backed strategies and I love figuring out what works for the individual child. My favorite part of working with children is analyzing behavior and needs and figuring out how to meet them. My strategies are concrete and skills based. I tend to find the gaps in the foundation and build those up- helping your kiddo with what they're working on now! I believe in having your child monitor their own progress and become as invested as they can in their learning. I'm a fun and eccentric teacher that will bring the flexibility needed for many students to love learning.

We are so very happy and appreciative of Nana. She has only worked with us for a few weeks now and we are seeing dramatic, positive changes and development in our boys. She gives me all the tools I need as a mom to understand my boys behaviors and help them through it. She gives us detailed explanation of behaviors, approaches to help them develop, proven research, and progress reports. It greatly helps me to see what activities are beneficial and in what way. It is very obvious that she is very educated and knows what she is doing as the results are just amazing. She works with the boys with all sorts of sensory activities and includes my husband and I, so we can all work as a team. We are so very happy to have found her.. An answer to MANY prayers!
