About Brianna

When I was in college I took a job delivering groceries, within the first week I met to an elderly lady who I could tell was struggling as soon as she opened the door. I left with a pull in my heart telling me I was meant to help. I found her number and called her back, offering help if she ever needed it- three years later we still talk after I've moved across the country. I acted as her companion, her advocate during physical therapy& hip surgery, cleaned & organized her home which hadn't been touched in 5 years. I helped her finding additional care when I couldn't help, found contractors to help make modifications to her home that we couldn't do on our own, and most importantly built a relationship that neither of us had ever had! This opened a door to volunteering with a center. I loved learning about everyone there and seeing a side of seniors I'd yet to see. As seniors went home I'd stay in touch and continue to help and give rides to appointment or grocery stores when needed.
