About Brian K

My name is Brian, and I'm a Special Education and Elementary Education Teacher (Dual Licensure) Candidate. I'm passionate about helping those challenged by adversity, especially children. I've spent the last year working as a Skills Trainer at Oak Grove Academy (day therapeutic treatment school) and the prior year working in a Social Emotional Learning Center at an elementary school in Hillsboro. I'm exceptionally patient with students and highly enthusiastic about assisting students to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals to be academically successful. I'm experienced with Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Safety Care certified, and certified in First Aid/CPR/AED for adults/children/infants.
