I've owned a cat for 11 years, interacted with my friend's dogs for my entire life. I love caring for and playing with animals and have done dog and cat sitting off and on for a few years. I am comfortable with feeding, walking/running, playing with and performing waste cleanup for dogs and cats. Not only was Briahna very kind, patient, loving, active, and fun... what I thought set Briahna apart from an average babysitter was how she disciplined my daughter. Briahna has the unique gift of being able to hold established boundaries without giving an inch (where necessary :) ) while simultaneously being loving, supportive, not overbearing, & letting my child explore/grow appropriately. And Briahna also was conscientious in trying to maintain the boundaries & value I set, rather than just her own, and was able to work with those even in new situations. Therefore, I never hesitated to leave my child in her care for an extended time (i.e. if I had to go on a work trip). It was always a pleasure having Briahna in our home and we (still) consider her another member of our family.
