About Brendan

Since December of 2023, I have worked in a day-care like setting with children who have special needs from 2-6 years old. Throughout this time, what has made it special to me has been rediscovering my inner child as I engage in their play and interests. I also assisted in their meal preparation and toileting (diaper changes/potty training). I remember a little bit of what it was like when I was in daycare as a toddler, and what stayed with me is how homesick I was. And so, my primary motivation is to do all I can to give every child a sense of home and unconditional acceptence so they can fully embrace every moment with joy.
