About Brenda

Hello! I've been teaching and tutoring for over a decade. I have taught US history, study skills, and French. My tutoring experience has been just as varied, from helping young elementary students with reading, writing and math to a high school student needing support with chemistry. I've also worked with special education students who have been in the middle school and high school years. Working one on one with kids is not only an awesome opportunity to make sure that they understand the material, but it's something that I love to do. It's a great experience to be able to really help a kid find success with something difficult. For some kids, skills building is a huge part of the learning process. I love learning, I love teaching, and working one on one with a student just rocks and for the kid, it's invaluable to be able to have someone to help them with their specific needs.
