About Brenda

I am an RN with acute hospital experience as well as long term care experience. I am looking to fill some of my spare time caring for and making connections with seniors or parents needing help with childcare. A little about my background! I started my nursing career on a sub-acute unit caring for a wide range of patients needing short term rehab. From there I moved into the hospital setting on a med-surg/telemetry unit. During this time I continued to work per diem on a long term care/Alzheimer's unit. I took some time off to stay home with my babies and then returned to the hospital and worked in Maternity for about 10 years. I am an avid gardener and love getting outside. We have two amazing golden retrievers, Knox and Kistler. I am working with Kistler to become a certified therapy dog so if that is something that interests you he can accompany me on visits to practice his skills.
