My name is Raquel, a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver with a strong commitment to providing high-quality support and care to individuals in need. Originally from Cabo Verde, I began my journey in the United States in 2017, where I completed my high school education and quickly entered the healthcare field. I started working in a hospital environment, where my attention to detail, organization, and natural ability to connect with people allowed me to grow professionally. I currently work as a Direct Support Professional, assisting individuals with daily living activities, emotional support, and medication monitoring. I have experience working with children and individuals with special needs, including developmental and cognitive challenges. My goal is always to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where every individual feels valued and cared for.
