About Bre

Hi! I'm Bre and this is a little bit about my professional and personal life! I'm a Special Education Teacher certified in ESL, Core Subjects EC-6, SPED K-12, and STR. I'm Safety-Care trained, Mandt certified, First Aid certified, and have 1, 000+ hours of de-escalation training. I have 5+ years of experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, trauma, and learning disabilities like dyslexia and dysgraphia. I scaffold for struggling learners and challenge gifted students. I'm energetic, grounded, and determined. I love tutoring because I enjoy watching students light up when they understand something new. I'm looking for a consistent role where I can grow with the student. I've tutored since high school, working with learners from elementary through college. In my free time, I enjoy brunch, dancing in my kitchen, and camping. I believe in all learning modalities and use varied activities to teach. My strengths include math, science, and reading.
