Some people are athletes or artists; I'm a kid person. It's what I do. I learned that at a very young age, and took a Super Sitter course at the age of 12. From the age of 14, I spent 5 years engrossed in the Children's Ministry at my church. I helped in all the classes from preschool to fifth grade and was eventually put in charge of the infant and toddler classes. As a teen, I held numerous regularly scheduled babysitting jobs with several families in my community. I have had three great opportunities to take care of twins. They were at ages 3 weeks, 8 months and 1-year-old respectively. As I entered college I moved cross-country and began nannying part-time while in school. I also worked as an infant teacher at a state-licensed daycare center for six months. I greatly enjoy teaching and enriching little ones and watching them learn and grow. It has always felt less like work and more like fulfilling my passion. I have a special place in my heart for each child that I meet and I never run out of room!

We have never had a care giver as patient, kind, and responsible as Brandi. Our daughters are three and almost two, and our younger one had been attached at the hip to me. I found it very hard to leave her with a caregiver when I went back to work, but Brandi was amazing with her. From the very first visit, both girls just fell in love with her. She was prompt, available when we needed her, attentive to our house and helped with some light housekeeping, and most importantly, I could tell that she genuinely loved being with our kids. One key thing that distinguishes her from other sitters we have had an interviewed is that she wants to continue working with children as her career. She really loves what she does and it shows. I can't say enough good things about her! Even though my job is ending and we won't need her for so many hours per week, we will definitely continue to call her for date nights and special occasions.
