About Bonnie

I have a passion for working with young children, particularly those with special needs. I have 5. 5 years of childcare and teaching experience. I have been a preschool teacher, nanny, back up nanny, babysitter, and I am currently a special education preschool IA. Most of my experience has been with children 5 months to 5 years, although I do have experience with older children. I also have experience with children who have special needs, both through my job in special education but also prior to that as a nanny of a 2-3-year-old child with leukodystrophy. I have assisted in the use of mobility aids such as walkers and with braces, although I would be glad to learn how to use any physical aid a child might need or have. I also have worked with children who have limited or non existent verbal speech, and I can become very attuned to how a child tries to communicate without speech. I am currently looking for a consistent babysitting position for the next few months until August 1sr.
