About Bobbi-ann

With a bachelor's in Materials Science and Engineering and two years of experience in teaching high school as well as middle school, I tutor Math, Science, Test Preparation, Computers, and Study Skills for elementary, middle, and high school students. I believe in personalized support and building confidence so that every student can develop critical thinking skills. I assess learning styles through active listening, open communication, and regular parental check-ins. I keep students engaged by connecting topics to real-world examples, celebrating successes, and encouraging curiosity. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, building trust, and keeping parents informed. Witnessing "aha!" moments and seeing students grow is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am CPR trained. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
