Nurturing children and watching them blossom has always been my passion. For the past 10 years, I've had the joy of caring for children aged newborn to 11, with a focus on toddlers and preschoolers. I hold a college degree and have completed Early Childhood Education and Early Child Development coursework. My experience includes First Aid Training, CPR Training, and caring for children with special needs. I'm patient, creative, and friendly, and I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational activities. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and always communicate with parents using their preferred method. I am happy to help with carpooling, light housekeeping, crafts, and swimming supervision. I also speak Spanish and Sign Language (ASL). I can comfortably care for up to two children. I believe in making a positive impact on young lives, and I look forward to the possibility of caring for your little ones!

Blanca is very caring, compassionate and patient. She is great with children. She was a very well rounded background in child development that reflects in her work with children.

Blanca was wonderful with my daughter. She was communicative and super sweet and my daughter loved spending the day with her. 

Blanca spent a few hours with our children while in town for a wedding. She was very accommodating dealing with two children in a hotel room. If we needed care again, would want to have her back. 

Really nice person. Had a great meeting before we agreed on the dates and times. Originally asked for support from 8-5, but she asked for accommodations with her school schedule which I was happy to do. Totally understand School comes first. We planned a Thursday, Friday and Tuesday. She helped us on Tuesday, and then Friday just an hour before she was scheduled to show - texted and said she was sick. When I followed up the next Tuesday to see if she could help out, she again said she was sick.

I totally understand that school needs to be first. And people get sick - it happens. But it left my husband and I in a really bad position with our jobs since we do not have any family to help.

Again, a very nice person. But super flakey.

Blanca has been such an asset to our family in the short time we have gotten to know her. She is extremely experienced with special needs children, is amazing at crisis intervention and behavioral modification. Blanca is always punctual, communicates very well, and my son took to her with ease and asks for Blanca on days she is off because he enjoys his time with her so much. We also homeschool and Blanca has made herself available for school meetings regarding my son's therapy and other services we get through the school and also helps with tutoring, outings, has solid transportation, and helps with meals and tidying up as it is necessary. I am often already working when Blanca arrives and she is completely self directed and attends to my son's morning routine without hesitation and is amazing at keeping a good routine, schedule and consistency, which is great for most kids, and for my kid it's essential! I would give Blanca a 5 star rating and I highly recommend her as a great addition to any family with kids of school ages and beyond!

Blanca is awesome! My boys loved her! She is very easy to work with, communicates well, and really listened to what my boys, especially my ASD/ADHD son, needed. We were so lucky to have her during this crazy year and bummed to lose her when we had to move.

Blanca has helped with after school pick up and evening childcare for my two boys in the past. She has also watched the boys for nights out. She is the perfect mix of fun and firm. She makes sure things like meal prep and homework get done and can monitor fun activities without overdoing it. I trust her judgment, she is dependable and i feel good leaving my boys in her care.

Blanca picked up my two kids 3&6 (who have ADHD and are on the autism spectrum) from school and took them to their various therapies or activities and brought them home to feed them dinner. She has an extensive background with special needs children so she was warm and fun but also provided the necessary structure and boundaries for our children. We always felt comfortable with her watching and even driving them and my kids always asked for her. Wouldn't hesitate to call her.

With an ABA background as a single mother herself, Blanca knows what is needed for our kids to thrive and be happy. I am so glad to have found and connected with her and to have her a source of help for myself and my son!

Blanca was on time, caring and a blessing to our daughter. Thank you Blanca for your professionalism and for caring for our 17month old. If you are looking for a babysitter, definitely give Blanca a try.

This person wanted to be interviewed via Care.com email, she claims that she does not have a phone. This is no way to interview, I see she has not been to any interview. Just because it is a babysitting job, does not mean that you could be unprofessional. How can she think that this is ok, a parent needs to have access to the sitter at all times. If she takes my children to the park or a walk, she as well as myself need to have a way of calling in case of an emergency. But it looks like this person does not understand.
What a shame!!
