About Bintia

Hi! I'm a Washington University in St. Louis graduate with a B. S. in Biomedical Engineering. For three years, I worked as a Chemistry Tutor and Freshman Mentor. I have experience working with students from elementary school through college and specialize in Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and STEM subjects. My teaching approach is personalized to each student. Before every lesson, I send a Google Form where you can share topics, ask questions, and upload homework or projects. This allows me to prepare extra targeted practice problems. During each session, we'll answer your questions, work through assignments, and complete additional practice. A little about me: I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY, and I enjoy writing poetry, scrapbooking, and running. This fall, I'll begin a master's program in Prosthetics & Orthotics. Given my previous mentoring background, I'd be happy to answer questions about college, academics, university life, or graduate school!
