Since having rescued Frida she has taught me so much about patience and care. I've also helped sit for friends and family. I am very observant and attentive of dog behavior and happy to serve the level of care and love your pup may need. I'm currently a full-time graduate student and intern. My program is mostly online with most flexibility for visits and walks on Mon/Tues. In a client's home I am mindful of existing protocols and the pet's lifestyle. This means food habits, tidy spaces, and enforcing training. As someone with a rescue I find it really important to share what sort of routine/rituals are helpful when the pup is meeting someone for the first time. Any sort of do's/don'ts when meeting or taking care of them is a high priority. While I'm caring the activities will depend on the pup's energy and behavior. Something calming like chew toys, or soft blankets. Or more active like throwing a ball/frisbee, snuffle mats, or going on trail.
