I have been a babysitter and part-time nanny since middle school for child and adolescents (infants - teenagers). I am currently pursuing a Psy. D. in Clinical Psychology, and I am entering into my fourth year of graduate school. My class and internship workload will be light this summer, so I am looking to spend my extra time providing child care. Last year I volunteered at a Chicago elementary school where I co-lead after-school groups for 6-8-year-olds that focus on building social skills and improving emotion regulation. As a clinical psychology graduate student, I am learning about the social, cognitive, and emotional development of children every day!
