I believe caregivers should serve their clients, so in my many years of service, I have worked hard to do extra things to meet the needs and wishes of those I care for. I have worked for several caregiving companies but now need greater flexibility. For me, it's not about money, but having a good relationship with the client and their family. I prefer one on one, lasting relationships and I've had the blessing of great ones who can give me wonderful references. I've had great training and 10+ years experience with dementia/Alzheimer's patients and ALS patients. I also have a CPR certificate. I am fully vaccinated & boosted. I have no problem dealing with personalities that are outspoken or cranky, as long as you give me due respect. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I keep my religion to myself & I'm obligated to be honest, hard-working, kind and considerate.
