About Betty

Hi! My name is Betty. I am a college graduate, former collegiate athlete, and patient, dedicated tutor who specializes in math, reading, and science. I help students build confidence by tailoring each session to their learning style through step-by-step instruction, practice, visuals, and creative strategies. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My experience mentoring students through PAL and volunteering at schools serving children with disabilities has strengthened my ability to support diverse learning needs. My goal is to help students improve academically, develop strong study skills, and achieve long-term success while enjoying the learning process.
