About Beth

Spending time with children is truly a gift. I worked my way through college as an elementary school teacher's assistant and reading tutor, preschool teacher, and summer camp counselor. I then spent 15 years in social work with children and adults with disabilities. I left the paid workforce in 2019 to homeschool my own kids, and I continue that currently. I have a BA in English and am very comfortable engaging children in educational activities or helping with schoolwork. I also particularly love engaging with kids in art and outdoor activities. I know how difficult it is to entrust the care of your kids to another person, and I want nothing more than for parents to feel 100% comfortable with the care their children receive with me. I am patient, flexible, and reliable; willing to work with parents to ensure consistency with your rules and values while your child is in my care.
