About Beth

Have been tutoring K-8 students here in Reno, prior in Incline Village and the SF Bay Area. Most recently have worked with beginning and emergent readers and math beginners in grades K through grade 6. After working in educational/curriculum publishing for 30+ years, I have an thorough understanding of how children learn. My goals include developing children's love of learning and help create lifelong learners! Tutoring/Teaching Experience includes: K - 8 All Subjects, Including Gifted & Talented and Specifically Challenged Students Taught Grades 2 -8 using Blended Learning in after-school programs for below level students Taught Public Speaking and Debate in after school enrichment classes, workshops and in school day enrichment classes for grade 1 through grade 8.
