I am a nanny for 2 small girls (11 months and 3 years) looking for a temporary position from mid November through mid December while my employers travel abroad. I am a trustworthy, joyful and patient adult with experience running my own home and family for 24 years. I'm an affectionate, joyful caregiver and I enjoy kids who are curious, silly, respectful, imaginative, creative and funny. Prior to leaving the professional work force, I worked in print journalism, sales and customer service before starting a family almost 18 years ago. Before becoming a nanny, I worked part-time with an advanced-stage Parkinson's patient for 6 years, providing him and his wife with medical assistance, light housekeeping, errands and personal care. While I enjoy working with senior citizens, I prefer the optimism of working with children. Not only have I raised two daughters, but I've volunteered in my church as a vacation Bible and Sunday school teacher, and as a children's and youth group chaperon.

Beth worked for me from 2010 until 2016 caring for my husband who suffers with Parkinson's Disease until he entered an assisted living facility. She has a wonderful personality--very caring and upbeat. She also performed small chores around the house and drove him to exercise class, hair cuts, and medical appointments. She was responsible, dependable, and I found her to be very intelligent often "thinking outside the box" in problem solving. In short she gave my husband a quality of life he would not otherwise would have had.
