About Beth

I have four grown children and five grandchildren. I have provided child care to approx. 50 children other than my own through the years. I have volunteered in school classroom settings and in a preschool in my hometown of Honeoye, NY. I did an internship in a daycare at Finger Lakes Community College, to enhance my studies about early intervention. I have parent advocacy training for children with special needs in the public school system. I also did an internship at Hillside Detention Center, working with the special needs of troubled teens. I was licensed to provide foster care in Ontario County for about 6 years. I have recently retired from an administrative position and I am seeking to fill my time in a meaningful way. I love kids and consider caring for children to be one of my greatest strengths and something that has brought joy and satisfaction. I feel that I could contribute to a child's upbringing in a positive and meaningful way.
