Taking care of children is an investment of one's time that is priceless because children are the future of society! Besides, those first years are extremely important in shaping a child's future, during which a child's brain is growing and still developing. What an excellent opportunity to read to them, to teach them songs, to expose them to another language, to play with them, because that's how they learn! But most of all, to make them feel treasured in our way of treating them, in the way we listen to them and tend to their needs. My main role as a Nanny is to provide a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the child/children thrive and develop. Engaging them in educational activities and crafts, indoor and outdoor play, changing diapers and potty-training, if age-appropriate. Doing the children's laundry, helping with homework as needed.
