About Bernice

We reached out to Bernice for a last minute need when our father was battling late stage pancreatic cancer. She was phenomenal. She came in to cover a Saturday 9a-9p & Sunday 9a-9p shift, and we were thrilled to be able to hire her for successive weekends, AND Mon, Tue and Wed evenings 9p-9a for the past month. Bernice is a consummate professional who brings her smile, energy and experience every day or overnight. She shared grace and compassion, along with deep personal caregiving skills that our Dad so valued amidst the crushing loss of his independence and mobility. Bernice commandeered all the very tough things for family to do for Dad including cleaning and changing which is hard on all. She allowed us to give Dad the ability to be private while we still were nearby. Bernice gave us so much advice and great information as we navigated this journey for the first time, as she has sadly walked the path many times with her clients. Dad passed away this weekend following his diagnosis a short 2 months ago. Bernice gave us such precious time with Dad as she protected his body and spirit from the ravages of the disease as best she could. She was excellent with the medications, hospice and best practices. An angel, adored by our family, but most importantly by Dad. Thank you Bernice for everything, forever.
