Hi! I'm Bernadette, a 21-year-old college junior at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I am an Exercise Science major, with a minor in Psychology, hoping to eventually continue my education in Occupational Therapy. I have been babysitting since middle school and have experience with a wide variety of children. I have mostly cared for children older than 5, although the youngest I have cared for is 6 months. I also have experience working with special needs children, as I have volunteered for Camp SOAR and shadowed at therapy clinics such as Crossway Pediatrics and Lake Norman Children's Therapy. I also volunteered at an Academic Camp for children with special needs this past summer, volunteered at the Miracle League in Wilmington, as well as a monthly gathering for people with special needs called "The Gathering Place" in Wilmington. I love kids and have flexible hours.
