About Ben

Hi there! My name is Ben, and I currently teach second grade in the public schools. I have experience teaching students from preschool through third grade and tutoring students from pre-K through middle school. I specialize in math, study skills, and language arts. I believe every child learns differently, and I enjoy finding the approach that works best for each student. My strengths include patience, creativity, and the ability to build strong connections with children, helping them gain confidence while developing their skills. I am also the father of two teenage daughters who were homeschooled when they were younger. That experience gave me a firsthand appreciation for the importance of individualized instruction, flexibility, and meeting children where they are in their learning journey. My goal is always to help students feel successful, capable, and excited about learning.
