I'd describe my personality as cheerful, kind, thoughtful. I like caring for seniors because it gives me someone to take care of as I don't have children of my own and I enjoy their stories. I'm looking for a job as a live-in, but open to hourly positions. I've worked as a live-in, in hospitals, long term care facilities and with agencies outside of teaching middle school science and substituting. I started my first live-in position when I was a substitute teacher. When an opportunity came up for me to live in/ care for an elderly man. I lived with him for a few years until he passed. We were like family. Since then, I've worked with two other families, all who have since passed on. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, & take walks. My skills include cooking, assisting with meals and feeding, being a good companion. I hope I can discuss my qualifications with you in detail further.

Belinda is a very nurturing and kind care giver. She treats her clients as if they were her own family. Belinda cared for my 80 year old dad who had mid-stage dementia. I always knew my dad was safe and well taken care of in Belinda's care. She also fed him like a king:-) I recommend Belinda as a care giver.
