About Bee

Hello! I am a patient and encouraging tutor with training from UC Davis' Foundations for Tutoring course where I learned the importance of tailoring my tutoring style to each student's needs and taking the time to understand their strengths and challenges. I also currently hold a Bachelor's in Sociology with a minor in Psychology where I took courses related to childhood development and grew my expertise in the area. I am highly confident in subjects such as English, reading, writing, Spanish, and art, with experience in tutoring some social sciences as well. While I have mainly tutored college-aged students professionally in Sociology, I have assisted my younger family members in their school work for years, giving me a passion in helping students grow academically and gain confidence in their abilities. I am committed to making learning feel less stressful and more achievable and I can't wait to help your child in their academic journey!
