About Valentina
Experience: 10 yrs
Bilingual Tutor | English & Spanish I am a Chilean biologist and have lived in the United States for the past 8 years. I recently moved from New York to California and am offering tutoring for students of different ages and levels. I have experience working with Pre-K children, tutoring Biology, Physics, and Chemistry to 9th- and 10th-grade students, and teaching at the university level. I have also worked as a teaching assistant for more than 10 university courses. I enjoy helping students not only learn the material, but also think critically, ask questions, and build confidence in their own abilities. I believe that learning how to solve problems independently helps students feel more confident and empowered in their learning.
