About Bee

I'm a current library student with a passion for learning at all ages, and that extends to how I move through childcare. I like to engage with fun and creative activities that will give children the tools they need to adapt to their situation, especially arts, performance, and writing. Other than library childcare programs, I've worked with the Greater Austin YMCA both in afterschool care and summer camp and grew a lot through my experiences with the children of the area. I'm skilled at engaging with kids on their level and helping them think through and process the world around them. I love imaginative play and innovative arts and crafts-I have a range of arts experience and am willing to try (if not succeed) at just about any medium. Love of learning is very important to me, so I always try to foster an inquisitive and open space. I'm also adept at conflict resolution and willing to work with parents/guardians to figure out the best solution for their children.
