As a certified teacher with a graduate degree and 32 years of experience, I believe every student has unique potential. My focus is on building confidence and fostering a love for learning through an engaging and supportive environment. I assess a student's individual learning style by actively listening and varying my teaching strategies. I keep students motivated by connecting topics to their interests, celebrating successes, and encouraging curiosity. Open communication is essential to understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I have a car and am comfortable with pets, so I can travel to various locations, such as the student's home, library, or coffee shop. I can help with Math, English, Science, and Art for early elementary and pre-K students. I would love to help your student reach their full potential!
