About Beckie

As a career nanny, I've been fortunate to work with many amazing families, giving me a wide variety of experience. From providing primary care for the youngest members (2mos) to supplemental support for older siblings (16yrs), from diapers and lullabies to homework and graduations, from dogs and cats to backyard chickens, I've enjoyed it all! But, early childhood development is my passion. Being attuned to a young child's view and fostering their natural curiosity is a pleasure. I believe in neighborhood walks and utilizing community parks, libraries, and beaches, if available. At home, there should always be reading, music and movement, art, building blocks, and pretend play. With love, patience, and a sense of humor, I have helped children develop positive self-esteem, empathy for others, and self-reliance. By respecting each child's uniqueness and attentively meeting their needs, I've had happy, loving, and emotionally secure children. And a lot of fun along the way!
