About Becca

I am a former 8th grade science teacher with experience teaching physics, chemistry, and thermal energy through a project-based learning (PBL) approach. My classroom focused on hands-on, real-world applications that helped students deeply understand complex concepts. I consistently achieved above-average state test scores, reflecting my ability to engage students and drive strong academic outcomes while fostering curiosity and critical thinking. In addition to teaching, I have coaching experience that has strengthened my ability to motivate, connect with, and support students of all learning styles. As a new mom, I bring patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach to my tutoring, and I take pride in meeting each student where they are to help them build confidence and succeed.
