About Bea

Hi! My name is Bea. I am a current undergraduate student who is back home in the Seattle area for the summer. I am pretty outgoing. As a former theatre kid, I'm pretty great at matching levels with high energy kids. I love reading (LOVED reading as a kid too), singing, baking (admittedly, my creations are not the fanciest), strategy games, the outdoors... basically, whatever your kid enjoys doing I'll be happy to participate in. Throughout high school I worked part time at a daycare. While I am not returning to my previous job this summer, the insight I gained frames me as a pretty strong contender for guiding and supporting kids through all the day's highs and lows. I loved my previous job -despite child:adult ratio problems and post-Covid understaffing- because I loved the work! At school I am minoring in education and this is undoubtedly a byproduct of how much those families meant to me. Please don't hesitate to reach out! I am open to a wide variety of scheduling needs.
