About Barbara

I bring a passion of hospitality and that passion lends into caring for others. After taking care of my parents and in laws I feel compassion toward the older people around me who can't care for themselves but want to live independently. Their needs have included but aren't limited to grocery shopping, light housekeeping, cooking, doctors appts, and sometimes just taking them for an ice cream or a coffee. I have also gone with them into appointments and communicated with family any information they would need to know. I have 2 years of paid caregiving because of taking care of my own family. I enjoyed being a companion to a few older people in my community and look forward to doing this again.
