While my own kids are my first love (I have three that are 16, 13, and 11), I have a great love for all "little people" in general. I am blessed to work with and teach the children at our church, where I also am privileged to be known as the "pastor's wife". I substitute teach all ages - from preschool through high school, and I am blessed to also be a middle school/high school track coach. Five years of my younger life were spent living and teaching English in Brazil, and I credit that experience with building in me a lot of flexibility and ability to adapt to circumstances that pop up and change in unexpected ways. South America living definitely keeps you on your toes! Life is full of challenges and surprises, especially when working with children, but the journeys are always unique and amazing. I learn a lot when getting to experience life through the eyes of the little people. And I love it.
