I have spent most of my life working , teaching, and caring for children of all ages. I feel honored and blessed to be a part of their lives. * Sadly, I have severe cat allergies and need to avoid these environments. * It's amazing to see how fast little ones learn new developmental milestones and grow in such short periods of time. I believe in incorporating fun and imagination while teaching. Of course, as well as uplifting, loving, and making sure they feel safe. I have been a nanny for the past 8 years in families homes. I have traveled with families. I have been a lead teacher for 7 preschool classes. I have had my own licensed daycare/preschool for over 10 years. I have also done newborn overnight care for babies born a little early , and twin babies. I have been an infant room lead teacher for over seven years caring for babies 5 weeks- 14 months. Our team cared for 20 infants, 10 in each room. I have raised two wonderful sons , who are amazing young men now.

Best of the best! We were visiting Denver and watched our 2 kids (2 & 5) for 2 nights. She was flexible with our plans, SHE BROUGHT TOYS, did lots of outside 'adventure' time, made dinner, did bath time and was extra caring. The kids very much loved her. 

From the first communication Barbie was a consummate professional. I hired Barbie to watch my 4 year old daughter while we were in town on a work trip. She showed up prepared with age appropriate games and activities. She was so friendly and built instant rapport with my daughter. Barbie even prepared a play-by-play report on the evening with adorable pictures. I felt so happy that my daughter had such a great time and the first thing she told me in the morning was how much she loves Barbie!

We absolutely love Barbie! She has babysat our two young boys (ages 1 and 2) several times, including an overnight weekend, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. She’s incredibly sweet, patient, and attentive.

She goes above and beyond every time, even bringing new toys and dress-up items to keep the kids entertained and engaged. She’s very thorough and responsible, and we always feel completely at ease knowing our children are in her care.

HIRE BARBIE!!! 
We were only visiting for the day and needed a sitter. My son is 20 months and so there’s always a little anxiety when we leave. From the moment Barbie walked through the door her energy as a caregiver could be felt. She came completely prepared and my son loved her immediately. I wish she lived near us and we could hire her as a nanny! 

Barbie was wonderful with my son! He typically has separation anxiety when I leave, but Barbie quickly helped him feel comfortable and kept him engaged and happy while I was away. I would absolutely hire Barbie again and highly recommend her to other families.

Barbie was lovely and so engaging with our little one! From bringing her own toys to enjoying some time outside and explaining the world, she kept our daughter engaged and stimulated during the week that she was with us. Highly recommend!

I booked Barbie to care for my 4-month-old for two 9-hour evenings during our visit to Colorado. She was absolutely incredible at caring for our son with just a 15-minute walkthrough and immediately put us at ease.
Barbie’s attention to detail was outstanding. She sent us photos and comprehensive summaries throughout each day, including feeding times, amounts, diaper changes, and nap schedules. This communication allowed us to fully enjoy our time away.
She thoughtfully brought her own age-appropriate toys and activities, demonstrating both experience and genuine care for child development.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Barbie to anyone seeking exceptional childcare while visiting Colorado. Her reliability, expertise, and nurturing approach make her an absolute treasure.

Where to begin? I could not recommend Barbie more as a caregiver. We initially met Barbie through Care.com, where she provided backup care for our two daughters (now, ages 6 and 3). Our kids love her. Barbie would always bring age-appropriate activities (e.g., costumes, arts and crafts, etc.), and we had such a good experience with her that we engaged her to serve as a full-time nanny when we had our third child.

Barbie has been a full-time nanny for our from October 2024, when he was 8 months old, through June 2025. She has consistently gone above and beyond, not only dealing with the typical job responsibilities you would expect (e.g., meal/bottle prep, feeding, changing, soothing, napping, etc.), but with her prior background in childhood development, she has spent 1:1 time working with our son on his gross motor, fine motor, language, cognitive, and social-emotional/behavioral development. From working on walking, basic singing to express his needs, flash cards, sight recognition, and early language development, our son has made great strides with Barbie.  

She brings extensive background in childcare and is responsive, communicative, and responsible. Because of all these things, she has earned our trust. As a result, we felt more than comfortable having Barbie take our son on field trips in her own vehicle to several parks, the zoo, museums, etc. During these trips, Barbie focuses not only on education exposure, but also social development and interaction. Our son loves to play and engage with other children on these excursions. We're confident he'll have a smooth transition to preschool in no small part because of Barbie.

Barbie has gone above and beyond, serving as a support pillar for our family. She traveled with us out-of-state to provide childcare when we had a family member pass. And she even came with us on a family vacation to Mexico to help care for our children. We had a wonderful time with her on the trip, and we're lucky to have been able to share those memories with her.

I could go on, but suffice to say Barbie has been an integral part of our family, she has provided excellent care for all three of our children, and I could not recommend her more.

We absolutely adore Barbie! She has watched our son (almost 4) many, many times over the past almost 3 years and our daughter (8 months) a handful of times as well. Barbie always brings the fun - our son loves Barbie's games, crafts, activities, toys, and imaginative ideas! It is so clear that she loves what she does and cares so deeply about the children she is watching. On top of all that, she is patient, energetic, kind, professional, and reliable. I cannot recommend Barbie enough. 

Barbara is a wonderful childcare provider. She has worked with us since my daughter was 4mo (now 2yr). Barbara is transparent and reliable and we always feel safe leaving our daughter with her! She’s also kind and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend! 

Barbie is wonderful! We describe her to our friends as our own Mary Poppins nanny - she always comes with fun activities, toys, and games for the kids. Our kids absolutely adore her and look forward to spending time with her. Barbie has spent her entire career in early childhood education and care. She is super knowledgeable, trustworthy, and kind. We've used her as our nanny for our 1-year old for 6 months, and we've used over the past 3 years as a baby sitter for our older kids. We've even traveled on vacation with her. We recommend her as a sitter or nanny to everyone we know!

Excellent communication, and had tons of activities she brought with her to keep my daughter enriched and engaged without a screen. My daughter had a blast running around outside so much that she ate very well and went to sleep right after dinner. 

Barbara was fantastic. This was our first time using a babysitter and we were very nervous. She far exceeded our expectations. Barbara arrived on time, pleasant and our son was so comfortable with her. She got through dinner time and bedtime with no issue and was cuddling our dogs when we arrived home. Can’t thank you enough! Will absolutely reach out for care again :)

Barbie is great! She always brings fun activities and toys that are new and exciting to my kids. I have 3 kiddos, ages 1, 4, and 6 and she easily connects with each one in an age appropriate way. They always are excited to see Ms Barbie, and I am too! 

Barbie was fabulous!!  Great communicator, on time and wonderful with the kiddos. We’d hire her again in a heartbeat.  

Barbie is amazing. We were going through a tough time with our 3-month-old and she swooped in and helped us in a pinch, several times. She is so patient, kind, loving, and truly an expert. Any family would be lucky to have Barbie as part of their team. 

We love Barb!! She was originally one of our main caregivers for our son in the infant room of his daycare. As he has grown (now 5!), we have built a wonderful relationship with Barb and she continues to babysit our son for date nights and other adult only events! Our son loves Barb and always looks forward to spending time with her. She is nurturing, caring, trustworthy, and an overall warm/kind person. She gets down on the floor and plays, takes our son to parks and always has something fun planned for them to do when she babysits.
