I started off working full-time in a local nursing home, and after 2 years, I wanted a change and started working for Hospice as a Home Care aide and did that for 10 years. In between, I gained experience working part-time in a local hospital for over 4 years and a adult day care center for 2 years. I love helping people and find it very rewarding. Barb helped with my elderly father for about 11 months until his passing last week.  It is difficult to put into words how kind and compassionate Barb always with my Dad, and how calming and supportive she was to myself and my family.

Barb was amazing & I'm so glad I found her. She made time to come & meet my mother & I and we were able to discuss what we needed. At first my Mother was resistant to having 24/7 care (since she thought she did not require it yet) but only 2 days into hiring Barb she had a nose bleed & was wishing someone was there with her. Barb has a few ladies she has worked with before & trusts & she called them & immediately they began caring for my Mom full time. I was able to get hospice in to manage her medical care & symptoms thanks to the 24/7 care they provided. The ladies Barb brought on board, in addition to herself are the most caring people. They made time to get to know my mother, treated her with respect, went above & beyond, provided her assistance where she needed it & when needed expanded what was needed of them. Although my Moms journey was short I would hire Barb again in a heart beat. It really took the stress off my shoulders knowing mom was being well looked after.

On her off days, she still messages me to see how my grandmother is doing that day. Then, on her day off, she called to say, since my Grandma was feeling so depressed and purposeless, "Tomorrow, I want to take your grandmother to her kitchen so she can cook her favorite meal again." Barb stayed all day in the kitchen, cooking the meal that my grandmother wanted.
My Grandma is vibrant ever since.

Barb has given my Grandma a shower, spent hours outside talking with her on the front porch, answered to my Grandma's every unusual request at 3am in the morning without any hesitation or complaints. 

My grandmother is recovering from 2 strokes, amidst many other problems, but Barb has helped resurrect my Grandma's mood, and health, by being such a compassionate caretaker.

Barb is an outstanding care giver! She helped us the last 6-8 months that my father in law was alive. He had cancer and Alzheimer's. She went above and beyond for us! She did so much more than was required of her and she takes pride in her work. She has such a beautiful and caring nature. She did anything from housekeeping and laundry to complete care with bathing, shaving, and toileting. This woman is an angel and anyone would be LUCKY to have her! We are so fortunate we found her when we needed her!

We hired Barb to assist with my mom who is disabled with MS. Her warm personality immediately won my mother over and her care-taking skills are superb. She is caring, outgoing, punctual, hard-working and truly loves what she does. Her experience shined through with how she took care of my mom and she always went out of her way doing extra things we didn't even ask her to do.  Due to my moms need for a higher level of care, she recently moved. It was very sad to part ways with Barb as not only did she take good care of my mother but she became like family.

Barb is in a league like no other. Her skill and caring attitude with seniors is exceptional. She is knowledgeable and hard-working.I highly recommend her.

Finding Barbara to help care for my mom with advanced Parkinson's has been a lifesaver. She stepped in smoothly, asked the right questions and provided exactly what we needed at the right time. Barbara helped care for my 98 year old dad for about  6 months before his passing. She is a professional who is  experienced,  kind, trustworthy. She provided him comfort, helped with his personal needs in a most responsible and respectful way and was always pleasant and sincerely engaging. She completed all tasks and looked to do more.  We were very lucky to have found her.

Barb was terrific!  Went well beyond what we expected caring about my wife's comfort and about our family as we were distressed. She adjusted to last minute schedule changes that we requested without a problem.

Barb cared for my mother in law during cancer treatment and was not only a great caretaker but made extra effort to connect with her and my father in law, cooking for them or bringing food from home for them to try, organizing or cleaning where ever something was needed. We spoke to Barbara several times about caring for her parents. We thought we had things all lined up. She had to cancel due to family illness, which was fine, But then after repeatedly trying to contact her, she did not return our calls. We would have much preferred for her to just declined the job if she was not interested. We feel as though we wasted our time.

Barb took excellent care of my father for 3 months prior to his passing last week. She was on time took extra hours as needed but most of all she was kind and respectful to him as he declined.
