After living in Washington, D. C. for four years, I've returned home to Arizona to be closer to my family. While in D. C. I was lucky enough to find a wonderful family to work for through Care. com. What started as an after school nanny position turned into full time care giving for the children's mother, who was battling cancer. I learned so much from them and truly appreciate the relationship that we still have, though I no longer care for them. I enjoy reading, museums, art and spending time outdoors (when it's not 115 degrees of course!). Right now I work for a nonprofit during the week, so my availability for care is limited to the weekends or weeknights (schedule permitting).
