About Ayla

Hi! I am new to childcare but I'm hoping you'll give me a chance! I have tons of experience in the arts, painting, ceramics, dance and theatre. So I have lots of ideas to keep your child entertained. I also studied psychology in college and have a very good understanding of emotional development and processing emotions. During college I worked at a summer camp for the blind as the art instructor and I feel comfortable creating sensory crafts. While at the camp, I worked with all age groups, including adults. I have my own vehicle and am insured with full coverage. I would be happy to assist with traveling to and from activities, or taking the children out on trips. In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, watching tv shows, playing video games and playing with my 3 dogs. Professionally, I have worked as a stage manager for live theatre for the past few years and am looking to find a new career path. I am also able to assist with other household tasks, as needed.
