Ayanda has been caring for our toddler for three afternoons a week since January. Our daughter was about 12 months old when Ayanda started, and had never been cared for by anyone outside the family before, so we were worried about her getting used to someone new. But Ayanda was the picture of patience and is great with her. She got through that initial fear-of-a-new-person period more easily than even the grandmothers did, and my daughter is happy to see her whenever she comes. Ayanda is punctual, reliable, and, most importantly, a kind caregiver with a talent for working with small children.
