About Avinoam

My name is Avi Levin, and I am a recent Brown University graduate. I attended a magnet arts high school in Colorado where I studied drama, then moved to California for UC Berkeley, where I considered majoring in Anthropology, Biology, or English. What once felt like a lack of direction, I came to recognize as curiosity- and it's that curiosity I hope to impart as a tutor. I have extensive experience tutoring students of all ages. I work with high school seniors on their college applications, editing essays and helping them earn acceptances to top universities. Throughout high school, I tutored middle schoolers in Math and English, meeting students wherever they were- whether preparing for this week's test or recovering from last week's. Additionally, I taught at a Sunday school, leading weekly lessons on Jewish values. Watching my students make connections and get excited about learning is what I love most. I want your child to not only understand the material- but enjoy it.
