About Avery

I'd describe my personality as caring, kind, and patient. Some of my favorite people in the world are the teachers and babysitters I had growing up. I am currently enrolled at Chico State University pursuing a career in elementary education, in hopes to make the same positive impact on kids that I had growing up. I'm looking for a job that will give me experience for my future career as an elementary school teacher. As the oldest of four children, I've had experience helping young kids and babysitting my whole life. In the summer of 2022, I began my teaching career at a summer school where my responsibilities progressed from being a teachers aid to managing my own classroom. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym, be in nature, make art, and hang out with my friends and family! My skills include creativity and engagement, safety awareness, and a positive attitude!
