About Avery

Hi, I'm Avery! I'm a nursing student at Southern California University of Health Sciences, where I'm currently pursuing my nursing degree. Since my coursework is primarily online, I have a flexible schedule and am ideally looking to work approximately 16-20 hours per week. I have several years of experience caring for children ranging from 2 months to 6 years old. Through babysitting for families and caring for my younger sister, I've developed a patient, nurturing, and dependable approach to childcare. I enjoy creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, cared for, and encouraged to learn and explore. In addition to my childcare experience, I am a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and previously worked as a medical assistant at a dermatology office. My medical training and professional healthcare experience have strengthened my attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to remain calm and responsible in a variety of situations.
