About Avery

Hi! My name is Avery, I am 22 years old and have been babysitting since 2018. I work at the Youth Center on Scott AFB but have taken care of children from ages 0-12. I love working with children and am also comfortable with pets. I'd describe my personality as caring, fun, and engaged. I like working with kids because I love to see the world through their eyes. They have such a great sense of humor and are so creative. In my spare time, I like to read, sing, and do arts and crafts. I also love to listen to music while completing any task. One thing you should know about me is that I am a creative, imaginative, and entertaining person who strives to create meaningful connections with the children I watch. My skills include creating age appropriate activities, singing and playing, and helping with emotional regulation.
