Hi - My name is Avery, I am 27 years old and graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2020. I am the oldest of 5 and have tons of experience working with all ages of children. I began when I was young watching over all of my younger siblings, and then began babysitting for kids in our neighborhood. Now I am a mom to a sweet 2-year-old boy. I substitute teach on the side and have subbed from grades K-12. Now I am pursuing a nursing degree. 
As for the activities for the kids, if it's nice out, I like to take the kids outside, but if not, I am great at creating fun and safe at home games :) I am also CPR and First Aid Certified. I have worked as CNA caregiving for the past few years.

Avery was wonderful with our kids! She was attentive, patient, and very engaging. She checked in with us during the time she was here, which gave us extra peace of mind. Our kids really enjoyed spending time with her, and we have definitely hired her again!

We only interviewed Avery but she was wonderful. The timing didn’t work out for us to hire her but I know she would be great, no matter your kiddos age. I was especially impressed with her nursing background. 

We had a fantastic experience with Avery! From the very beginning, she was punctual, reliable, warm, and easy to communicate with. We reached out to her last minute when our regular babysitter couldn’t make it, and she graciously stepped in on short notice—even adjusting her start time to accommodate a schedule change on our end.

Avery cared for our 2- and 6-year-old children with ease. When we returned home, both kids were peacefully asleep in their beds, and to our surprise, she had also tidied up the kitchen—something we hadn’t asked for but truly appreciated.

Since that first experience, we’ve hired Avery again and consider her our go-to babysitter. She’s trustworthy, kind, and goes above and beyond. We highly recommend her to any family looking for dependable and thoughtful childcare.

Helped us out very last minute. She was great with my 5-month-old daughter! She can be very fussy and sometimes a little bit of a challenge, but she loved Avery! By the time I got home, and she was asleep in her arms. Putting her down for naps is not easy! Avery has a gift with children!

Avery left us high and dry at the last minute. The night before a twelve hour babysitting period she demanded more money than we had agreed. When I countered, she didn't respond, leaving us uneasy about trusting her with our boys. We ended up missing the event we had scheduled.

Avery was wonderful! Very communicative and on time. My son really enjoyed his time with her and I would definitely recommend her services! 

Avery was awesome with our little one. She asked questions to make sure she understood what she needed to do, kept us updated, and we definitely left knowing our kiddo was in good hands. Would recommend her to anyone!

Avery was wonderful! When she showed up to my house for the first time, my son was unexpectedly having a seizure (which had never happened before). She was calm and immediately jumped into the unexpected situation. She took care of my youngest, a 5 month old baby, while I attended to the needs of our toddler during and after his seizure. Avery was patient, helpful and took wonderful care of the baby! I would absolutely recommend her and hire her again.

Avery did great with my 2 kiddos. 4 and 6yr old with autism. Both kids had a blast her with her. She was able to show up last minute and help us out while we were on a mini-vacation for an evening so the Husband and I could have a night out! I would definitely recommend her and will use her again if we ever come to Colorado Springs again!

Avery was very attentive to my children. She went out of her way to play games and even cook with them. She was on time and very sweet to my girls. Since they have asked when she will be back to see them. Thank you Avery!
