About Mackenzie

While in high school, I babysat regularly and worked at a preschool as an assistant teacher. During this time, I worked with children of all ages (3 months-12 years). During college I was a nanny for a family with 2 children. During my time as a nanny, I did after school care by helping with homework, making dinner, light cleanup, bath time and bed time routines, and more. Over the summer, I did full day care that included going to museums, parks, craft houses, and the pool. Among these experiences, I have also been a vacation nanny to help families going away for a week with supervising while together as a family and watching the children while the adults went out for the night. After graduation with my degree in Elementary Education, I taught 2nd grade for two years. I absolutely loved teaching 2nd grade, but some last minute life changes cause me to need to resign from that job recently and relocating to a new area. With moving so quickly, I have decided to go back to nannying!
