About Avery

Hi! My name is Avery, and I am a college student at the USF pursuing a degree in Chemistry on the pre-med track. I have several years of experience working with children of all ages through tutoring, childcare, Sunday school education, and youth sports instruction. During the school year, I work as a literacy tutor with TK-5th grade students at a local elementary school in San Francisco, helping students with math, reading, writing, and foundational learning skills. I also have experience supporting children with ADHD, learning differences, and food allergies. I am CPR and lifeguard certified through the American Red Cross and prioritize creating a safe, patient, and encouraging environment. Families describe me as warm, reliable, and easy to communicate with. I enjoy helping with homework, outdoor activities, crafts, and household routines, and I look forward to supporting your family!
